The unique architectural monument of the first half of the XIX century - the majectic Vorontsov’s Palace towers almost in the center of Alupka among the greenery of the old park. It was built for the famous war statesman of Russia Count (and later Serene Prince) Mikhail Vorontsov, Governor-General of New Russia.
Created in the age of romanticism, he strikes the modern viewer with vivid originality of architectural forms. Original planning, interesting style decision of each of the buildings, the skill with which walls were layed, and finally the decoration work of inner premises - all this fascinates beauty-lover generations. Meanwhile the lay of land was used so skillfully that the palace seems to grow out of the surrounding nature.
